SUV destroyed by car bomb in Kelowna

Police have confirmed that a fire that destroyed an unoccupied Ford Explorer in downtown Kelowna last week was caused by a car bomb. It was parked on Lawrence Avenue behind the Liquid Zoo. I'm waiting to confirm several other juicy details and will post them as soon as I can link to confirmation. I sure hope that wasn't Dale's illegally parked SUV that Sammy was behind in the lease on.

Hoop here it is: This CHBC video clip is reporting that the SUV was owned by Dave Habib and registered in his wife’s name. I guess the divorce isn’t final yet. It points out that Dave’s brother Dale is with the pinheads and have been appropriately quarantined in a fruit stand. It is also reporting about the Senor Frog’s arson that involved another business owned by Dave Habib.

  1. I tried to leave a comment but I don't see it. Gonna try again. CHBC news at 11 said Dave Habib had the vehicle which is in his wife's name.Police believe the bombing is linked to organized crime. VERY interesting blog btw. I googled Habib which brought me here. Been going through this stuff for hours!

  2. Comments are moderate so it takes time before they are approved. Yet this was the only comment you made that came through. I did hear someone claim that was reported on CHBC news tonight. I'm just trying to find a link to prove it. I think that is very interesting information. We know that gang members often lease vehicles in their spouses or former spouses name. We know that Sam Habib promised to return a SUV he was late making payments on but never did after his brother Mike had his car leased seized in Calgary. Both are on trial for a large Oxycontin fraud. After we went public with that information, all of a sudden the lease company didn't want the car back and locals claimed they saw Dale Habib driving around in an suv. Maybe the family has more than one. I just thought it would be pretty ironic and suspicious if it was the same one. Kinda like that suspicious fire at Senior Frog's which became the Liquid Zoo at a new location.

  3. Appropriately quarantined in a fruit stand, thats a beauty. Keep up the good work in 2013, it's much appreciated. It looks like these guys aren't done attracting police attention quite yet.

  4. Well they do have a fence around their "fruit' stand : )

I'm looking forward to reporting on Joey Verma's trial and the Dain Philips murder trial this year. Two horrible events neither group can deny.

  5. Obviously, you haven't seen the clubhouse lately.... cleaned out and moved on to another, as yet to be determined location...

  6. We talked about that in another post. So they're just moving to another location or they're on the run because they lost the support of the BRM?
