Outlaws in Kelowna? Not.

This one slipped past me until a blog reader pointed it out. I had read that 16 grow ops were raided in Kelowna recently. Police seized 10,000 plants, 50 kilos of bud, 14 grams of heroin, six grams of crack cocaine, firearms and get this: paraphernalia from the Outlaw motorcycle gang. WTF? Do they mean the Outlaws or an OMG? Cause there’s a pretty big difference. That many grow ops controlled by the Outlaws MC in Kelowna would be pretty freaking significant.

Many of these grow ops had applied for medical licenses and were using that as a front for an illegal grow op. The police aren’t surprised organized crime are applying for licenses. No kidding. Local reports didn't say anything about the Outlaws. Here's a list of grows the police have busted without the recent update.

~

Update: Turns out it was Hells Angels gear. The Outlaw MG must have been a typo and it should have read an Outlaw MG instead. This reaffirms the Hells Angels criminal organization status.

  1. Are not the Hells Angles and Outlaws against each other? My guess is that the Outlaw paraphernalia is just support stuff that someone is collecting.

  2. Yes the Outlaws and the Hells Angels are very much against each other.
    That’s why I’m wondering if it’s a typo.

  5. Look @ the start-up date, these guys are at least a real Club;

    Wiki.:

"The Outlaws Motorcycle Club was established out of Matilda's Bar on old Route 66 in McCook, Illinois, a southwestern suburb of Chicago, in 1935..."

"The movie The Wild One with Marlon Brando influenced this backpatch. "

    They fight with HA:

"On October 4, 2009 several Hells Angels and allied Red Devils performed a raid on an Outlaw MC clubhouse in Kortrijk (Belgium) . Shots were fired and three Outlaws were wounded before the Hells Angels and their Red Devils comrades fled the scene."

They are in Europe, also far from Florida, so...why not here? Europe is much farther away.

  6. Yes Alex Caine did predict a showdown between the HAs and the Outlaws on the West Coast. Yes the Outlaws have been around a very long time and claim to be the first MC to use the term 1%. I was rather shocked because that many grow ops operated by them in Kelowna would have been huge since that is a Hells Angels strong hold. I do think the Outlaws are coming. I’m just not sure as to what extent.

What I am hearing now is that the police said Outlaw Motorcycle gang paraphernalia without naming the organization. I am of the understanding that it was once again Hells Angels gear they just said OMG instead of naming them. I have no idea why on earth they wouldn’t come right out and say it. If they found Hells Angels support gear on these grow ops, then that is a matter of public safety. Just like broadcasting the fact that they found Hells Angels support gear with the Vernon Greeks. Perhaps they thought saying the Outlaw motorcycle Gang in Kelowna would clearly refer to the Hells Angels.

  7. More on Cournoyer bust;

“In coordination with and backed by the Montreal Mafia and the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang — two of the most violent and powerful organized crime groups in Canada — the Cournoyer enterprise engaged in an assortment of violent crimes to further and protect its lucrative drug-trafficking activities, including, but not limited to: hostage-taking, firearm trafficking, witness tampering, home invasions and attempted murder."

“The marijuana proceeds were then used to purchase cocaine from the Sinaloa cartel in Mexico that was exported into Canada for distribution."

“The Cournoyer enterprise has cultivated relationships with criminal groups in numerous foreign countries, gained control over ports and customs checkpoints through a combination of covert operations and outright political corruption and has established smuggling routes into and out of the United States."

  8. (NatPost): "...the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang ..."

Agent K had it right all along, look @ how the RC's describe the HA's. There are no real "Outlaws" showing colours in Kelowna.

Just saw the great documentary on ATF Agent William Queen infiltrating the Mongols, he made full Patch! 27 full-Patch Mongols got taken down, including the national President.

  9. It MUST have been Cournoyer's cocaine that Larry Amero & the rest are charged with distributing, etc..

  10. If they name the beast, they thereby create pressure on themselves to deal with the beast. That's why.

They know they can never really do this because the present "rules of engagement" do not allow for victory. Who wants to take on a fight that they can plainly see in advance that they can never win? You may do it if you have to, or if you're paid to, but a certain lack of enthusiasm is unfortunately understandable.

Whatever my misgivings about the LE culture and it's abuses may be, there is little doubt in my mind that the profession contains a large number of guys who would be perfectly happy to take the gloves off and deal effectively with the Hell's Angels were they given permission to do so rather than being threatened with legal/judicial sanction if they did. Guys like this will do what society gives them permission to do but are not stupid enough to step forward and take that on themselves knowing that they will be hung out to dry if they do.

The tools to solve the problem exist, but society doesn't want them used.

I will be greatly surprised if ANYTHING "Alex Caine" predicts comes true, when a guys spews as much complete and utter bullshit as he did in "Befriend and Betray", everything else he says is suspect. The fact that Sonny Barger allowed his picture to be taken with him really doesn't mean shit, Barger has done that with untold thousands of people over the years.

Caine's description of US military service, training, and deployment to Vietnam was a conglomeration of the worst "poser" stories I've ever heard. I did a detailed review of it that I sent to Agent K and he has my permission to pass it on to anyone who asks him for it. It really was a breathtakingly bad series of lies strung together with no connection to reality, one could truly say it was "epic" in how bad it was. He couldn't even decide if he was in the Marines or Army Special Forces, and he kept referencing stuff that didn't even exist in the realm of Special Forces training until the late 1980's, and even then he got stuff wrong. A total liar and poser, and one wonders how much that carried over into his "undercover work".

The degree to which he might be "helping awareness" of the OMG problem is in my mind completely undercut by lack of credibility
due to EASILY disproved lies and embellishments. If that guy told me the sky was blue I'd look out the window. I'm generally against book burning but I made an exception for that $3 on Amazon piece of trash.

  11. PYONGYANG (The Borowitz Report)—North Korea’s official news agency announced today that the military’s planned missile test had been put on hold because of “problems with Windows 8.”

"Intelligence analysts said that the announcement gave rare insight into the inner workings of North Korea’s missile program, which until last year had been running on Windows 95."

"The announcement from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) did not indicate a new scheduled time for a missile test, saying only that it was “working with Windows 8 support to resolve the issue.”

"In the words of one intelligence analyst, “That means the test has been delayed indefinitely.”

"A source close to the North Korean regime reported that Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un is furious about the Windows 8 problems and is considering a number of options, including declaring war on Microsoft."

I agree with Kim Jong-un; Windows 8 is crap.

  12. Well I just had 2 Bikes pass me on Hwy 97 in Kelowna. Their owners were most definitely flying Outlaw MC colors. Not sure what if anything that means but those boys got some balls that's for sure.

    1. Cool. This is an old blog post. The climate in Kelowna has completely changed so that is entirely possible.
