Armed US Police in Canada want exemption from Canadian law

Speaking of traitors and treason, Harper is letting armed US Officers in Surrey already and guess what? The armed US officers want exemption from Canadian law while armed in Canada. That is so insane it is astounding. Harper… Don’t get me started on Harper. He has given up Canadian sovereignty and it’s time to take it back!

US police have no right to patrol in Canada. Period. That is something we need to address right now. Their desire for exemption from Canadian law is a flaming example of why this pilot project is so wrong. Does that mean they want to implement the patriot act in Canada when Harper has a hard time enforcing it against the will of the people?

This is wrong. This is wrong. This is wrong. This needs to be addressed right now because it has already gone too far. In June Vancouver lawyer Eric Gottardi said Canada-US maritime policing pact infringes on Canada’s sovereignty. He is right. Harper is breaking the law by letting this happen. It needs to stop immediately.

They claim this new agreement will allow hot pursuit across maritime borders. Wrong! How many car chases cross the border? If the police are chasing someone, the suspect has to stop at the border. If they are in hot pursuit that is pretty obvious and they won’t be allowed to cross. If it’s not a hot pursuit but just a wanted felon, the US issue warnings to the Canadian customs and they stop the suspect at the border.

Their hot pursuit argument is a lie to try and sell their illegal deal that gives up Canadian sovereignty. This is an act of war. Harper is a hypocrite and an idiot. He runs all those War of 1812 commercials as a front for doing the exact opposite and handing over Canadian sovereignty to the US. Not on my watch. Contact the BC Civil Liberties Association to join the class action law suit.

  2. Kim's Scoop post!
An 18 year old Vancouver man has been charged with attempted murder using a firearm after a shooting that left a young woman injured Tuesday night.
Hartej Singh Kang was arrested by Vancouver Police about 11:30 p.m.Tuesday, hours after he allegedly shot at another man, wounding instead his 19 year old female companion.

  3. unreal ..how much are we going to take from this asshole..u think the states would allow canadian armed officers into there country ..hell no..the first time it entered my mind that americans cia or dea were operating in canada with permission of our government was the tv show intelligence ..great show that was supposedly cancelled by the harper government..not sure if that's true

    1. I would have assumed that was a given since the Intelligence agencies do what they want and don’t tell local governments anything. Case in point the Surrey pressure cooker bomb fraud. US agencies were involved in that. When you look at operation Fast and Furious and then think of US Intelligence agencies working in Canada, that can only spell disaster. It is a huge security threat.

  4. No good!! Harper needs to get the fuck out of office ASAP. That dude is destroying Canada piece by piece single handed. There should be protests about this kind of shit.

    1. There should be massive protests about this. I’m trying to see about a class action law suit we can join. Just like bill S-7, there has to be some kind of legal recourse when the government makes a law or an agreement that violates the Charter of Rights. The government makes laws but they are bound by the parameters defined in the Charter. If they make a law that violates the Charter, that law is deemed illegal and becomes null and void.

    1. I think we need to find a balance between the two extremes. On one side we remain silent and do nothing. On the other side we rally in protest and demand the government resign. The Egyptian spring is problematic. If you demand the government resign, who’s going to take over? Demanding they resign right after they were elected to office is rather counter productive as well. Yet since we have a multi party system and Harper was elected with less than 50% of the vote, it is our duty to speak out and protest when he does stupid things especially like in this case where it is illegal.

I think the first step is to break the silence. Speak up and let people know how absurd this really is. Opinion polls may be slow but they do change governments. When you look at the recent upset in the BC provincial election where the people just reelected the most corrupt government in the history of the province it’s clear we have a long way to go to raise public awareness.

  8. The DEA and the FBI have been operating in Canada for years, it's just been kept rather quiet. I agree... US authorities armed or not, should have no jurisdiction rights in Canada; let alone be exempt from Canadian law while they are up here..How crazy is that!!!! That's only to protect them in case they pull off a Rodney King beat-down in the Great White North so they can't be held accountable. Pull the old "Diplomatic Immunity Card" We are all supposed to be proud Canadians! How can we possibly maintain a sense of sovereignty when our own government keeps giving it away to other countries. Harper is the biggest US Asslickin sell out since Brian Mulroney. Next thing ya know we'll have US Troops patrolling our streets imposing 10 o'clock curfew's for our own good! Ya and cause of Harper I'm not allowed to say "Merry Christmas" at work anymore cause I might offend some Muslim that's been living here for 6 months! I now have to say.. "Happy Holidays" Like WTF! I have nothing against Muslims or anyone else who wants to live in Canada... But I strongly object to having to change my way of life, traditions, values, morals, etc etc etc because I might offend some one from another country that does not have the same beliefs. I'm not trying to jam my beliefs down anyone's throat, I'm just doin my thing. If you don't like it, you don't have to be part of it. Try going to Iran, or Iraq and publicly saying you find their religious traditions offensive! They'd haul you out in the street and cut your fucking head off! Oh... I still say Merry Christmas! Cause that's MY CANADIAN TRADITION! Problem is everyone's so damned concerned about being "Politically Correct" they've forgotten how to stand up for our rights as CANADIAN'S and our way of life which is slowing slipping away piece by piece! Guess that's why we have Armed US Cops in Canada. No one wants to take a stand and say NO... WE are not going to accept this! Grow some Balls CANADA the Government is supposed to represent the People... Not service their own agendas! ...

    O Canada!
    Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

    From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Don't see any lyrics involving the Stars and Stripes in this tune!

    1. No but there is a line saying May stalwart sons and gentle maidens rise to keep thee steadfast and free. Nina Grewel addressed parliament about Christmas. The freedom of religion means people can still say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah or Happy Ramadan. I think it’s time we took a stand on this issue about US policing Canada since our sovereignty is literally at risk. Our forefathers fought in the trenches overseas. Surely we can stand in our own land and prevent this from happening.

  9. Even if we just line up at the border with plastic pitch forks, doing something is better than doing nothing. No masks, no disguises. Just standing there with our Canadian passports saying here I am with a plastic Halloween devil’s pitch fork, doing nothing illegal, just recording our dissent. Something needs to be said. Like that Semiahmoo student said at the Gateway Casino rally, Nothing strengthens authority as much as silence.

It’s like years ago when the US brought a nuclear sub to Vancouver. Green Peace, Libby Davies and several regular citizens swam around the vessel with white balloons. They said we have nothing against the United States but your vessel has nuclear weapons on board and we want you to leave. Theirs was a symbolic act yet their message was heard loud and clear. Likewise we need to object to US police patrolling Canada.

  10. If you know American history... Way back when they had a thing called Manifest Destiny, where the Americans want to, and feel entitled to own all of North America. Since the world would not stand for any king of military action by the US against Canada, they have been slowly taking over our country politically and economically. Now with the infusion of Police, Homeland Security, DEA, FBI, and probably some groups we've never even heard of into Canada.. The big question is not why are they here.. but why is our Government allowing this to happen.. If we as Canadians don't stand up to our own Government to dis-allow the amount of power we are just handing over to the US, we are surely headed for a very sad state of affairs! It's like Star Trek.. the Borg.. We are slowly be assimilated into the US..
