9 dead in Texas biker brawl - New Update

CNN is reporting that Gunfire erupted Sunday among rival biker gangs in Waco, Texas, leaving at least nine people dead. Three rival groups were present. The violence erupted shortly after noon at a busy Waco marketplace along Interstate 35 that draws a large lunchtime crowd.

Seemingly it was between Bandidos and Cossacks. Law enforcement officials said the gun battle was primarily between the Bandidos and Cossacks gangs, a continuation of a long-running feud between the two groups, though members of the Scimitars and two other gangs were also involved. Texas police say 192 people are to face organized crime charges after the Waco bike-gang shooting that left nine people dead and 18 others injured.

Update: Mixed reports are coming in on this. It has been claimed that it was the police that fired all the shots which resulted in all the fatalities. That is worth finding out.

NEW Update: Breitbart.com is confirming those rumours by quoting a different account of what happened by the Aging Rebel. The Aging Rebel claims "When the restaurant refused to ban the Confederation of Clubs, police stationed at least 22 cops including ten Swat officers from the Waco P.D. and the Texas Department of Public Safety in the parking lot outside the restaurant. They did not station either uniformed or plain clothes officers in the restaurant."

"The shove in the bathroom became a scuffle in the restaurant. When about 30 Bandidos, Cossacks, Scimitars and other bikers spilled into the parking between the Twin peaks and the Don Carlos Mexican restaurant next door, the police were waiting for them. The scuffle became a knife fight and several men were stabbed. When one of the combatants produced a gun the Swat team opened fire with automatic weapons. Multiple sources have told The Aging Rebel that all of the dead were killed by police."

OK so the bikers claim everyone shot dead was shot by the police. Not necessarily a reliable source but at this point I'd say it's one step more reliable then the police on the scene which changes the events completely. Yes a fight broke out and yes someone pulled a gun and was going to shoot someone. So why not just shoot the guy who pulled the gun? Perhaps they also shot guys who pulled knives and were stabbing people.

We're never going to find out what really happened. The bikers who would have been shot by the biker who pulled the gun are still going to complain about the police saving their life. Just as the ones who were going to get stabbed next by the bikers with the knives are going to complain the police saved their life as well. The underlining question is, did SWAT over react and just use it as an excuse to exterminate bikers? We know a fight broke out and we know there is past history with those clubs. The Bandidos trying to tax the Cossacks. However we also know there is past history in Waco Texas with the Branch Dividians.

  1. Other news reports advise the police knew about the meeting and were already present, ready for trouble and they don't know whether the bulletins which killed the 9 were from police officer guns or gangster guns.

The good thing is no innocent by standers were killed.

these are not bright bikers. starting a fight with police officers present is always a problem.

  2. There is more to this than may be apparent for some. The Cossacks had been ordered by the Bandidos to pay them monthly dues for the "privilege" of being able to ride and live in Texas. The Cossacks eventually refused to pay this extortion. They also decided to add "Texas" as their bottom rocker (something the Bandidos refused to let them do previously).

In addition, there is talk the Cossacks wanted to "support" the Hells Angels (in other words, become an hang-around club, then prospects and eventually members).

So, the HA also had a hand in this event, also. If a club could just become HA without having to do certain things in order to gain favour (what we just witnessed happen) things would have been different.

There is also talk of the feds in the USA being more than just aware of this event before it happened, but of helping to instigate it through various agent provocateurs. Some are even trying to tie in 'Jade Helm'.

Regardless, I highly doubt we have seen the end of this, more like the beginning. If the Cossacks can "take care of business" for themselves, they may "earn" a position as a chance to be HA. We must also not forget the Bandidos are also at fault for creating this situation by "taxing" other clubs (i.e. extorting).

Perhaps the HA in Canada know they are potentially playing with fire by having support clubs. If these clubs become somewhat autonomous or even independently operational there is the potential for them to cease being subservient.

The other end of the situation is by being so controlling, they (the HA) inevitably create their own destruction by eventually making other groups come about to oppose them made up of members who are sick and tired of being treated like second-class persons by the HA's superiority complex or by those who just oppose what the HA stand for.

Whichever way one examines it, they are only leading to their downfall and destruction through criminal behaviour.

They will literally reap what they sow.

Um, no. These puppet clubs are HA creations from the get go. There is zero chance of what you speak of actually happening. They owe their existence (not to mention their supply of drugs to sell) to HA. In addition, these "farm teams" exist to identify suitable recruits for an actual HA patch, as has happened in the past when they have been shut down, one or two guys will move up, the rest are often run off, same as happens with patch overs of existing clubs.

Maybe someday they will let Ricky Alexander have a real patch......

    2. While they may be HA creations, they do not always go the way they want them too. I think if we look at Jason Hall, Joey Arrance and especially Joey Love (aka Joey Morin, aka Joey Campbell, aka Joey Crazyhorse).

Joey Love started the Bandidos in Alberta. He was a prospect with Edmonton charter (he was a members of the Rebels MC Edmonton chapter) but went his own way.

The Rock Machine was really started by (because of) the HA.

All it takes is a dedicated few (with some smarts - but if they really had true intelligence they would never be involved with such an endeavour). If Joey had taken the habit of wearing a bullet proof vest Alberta would not look the way it is today with 5 HA charters and a near monopoly.

You can bet your bottom dollar the HA do everything they can to help the proliferation of "snitches" to help "rat out" anyone who would even dare speak about starting another club. Yet, it happens.

The Warlocks in AB, Rock Machine in MB, apparently Rebels (Australia) in BC, Vagos and Mongols in ON, Outlaws in SK. Some of these no longer exist, some do. None are really a threat to the HA, though. The Outlaws in ON and Quebec are probably the most threatening, but the Outlaws, while serious and dedicated, generally stick to their own thing and keep a low profile (they are not as greedy).

  3. This was intended to be a Confederation of Clubs meeting. There were over 10 clubs represented. A fight started (pushing, shoving, punching) inside the restaurant. Rumor has it that it was instigated by an undercover, but it doesn't matter. Police knew of the CoC meeting and already had 25 police in the immediate area.
The fight drifted outside to the parking lot where it became serious with knives coming out. When a gun was drawn police fired.
It appears that 6 of the 9 killed were killed by police. Feelings are high that all 9 were shot dead by police. Won't be known until forensics come out and if nothing is covered up.
Likely would have been better if just motorcycle club executives had met to see if the CoC could all get along. Dr. Smythe does have the facts re patch and tithe right.

  4. "support/puppet clubs" are somewhat similar to corporations contracting out their business to other smaller corporations. They can then put themselves at arms length from the problems these "at arms length" corporations" create, i.e. poor working conditions, lower pay, no fringe benefits.

it all seems a tad unreal, 180 or 190 arrested and being held on bail of a million each. with this type of situation, the Americans might want to pay more attention to what goes on within their own borders than what goes on over seas. I've yet to see ISIS doing this type of thing in the U.S.A., but they have their own citizens carrying out "terror" type activities. I can think of no other word for what these men did. It was create terror. The destruction could well come from within. The alleged threats against police by the bikers, would cause more social unrest than a few jihadists running around.

then there is the small matter of "taxing" and infringement on one clubs right to free speech, i.e. having to pay to express themselves. there are a mountain of Constitutional issues at play here with the Bandidos. Americans might want to look at that before they go messing up some one else's country.

    1. Selling drugs and committing extortion are not charter rights.

  5. that wasn't what I was saying. My point was the Bandidos were violating other citizen's charter rights in the U.S.A. by refusing to permit others to wear what they wanted to or express their views, associations.

    1. Oh my bad. Yes it really pisses me off when anyone bans anyone from wearing what they want when they want be it the Hells Angels or the Bandidios.
