Hells Angels: Masters of War

This is a video clip of Ed Sheeran singing a Bob Dylan song called Masters of War. I think it is highly relevant to the Hells Angels involvement in the Vancouver Gang war.

"Like Judas of old You lie and deceive A world war can be won You want me to believe But I see through your eyes And I see through your brain Like I see through the water That runs down my drain. You fasten all the triggers For the others to fire Then you set back and watch When the death count gets higher You hide in your mansion' As young people's blood Flows out of their bodies And is buried in the mud."

"Let me ask you one question Is your money that good Will it buy you forgiveness Do you think that it could I think you will find When your death takes its toll All the money you made Will never buy back your soul."

  1. nice quote. thanks for sharing.

one does wonder who is responsible for all the bad drugs which killed 8 people here on Vancouver Island. A little quality control would go a long way as would a safe injection site.

    1. There's no such thing as a safe injection site. It's all poison. However, you are quite right about yet another spike in ODs on Vancouver Island. Likely more fentanyl.

  2. Great post. Hope it makes someone think.

Opposite for the comment though ...

  3. "Two men arrested on suspicion of planning terror attacks in Brussels during New Year celebrations are members of a biker gang from an inner city neighborhood, Belgian media reported Wednesday."

"Saïd Souati, 30, and Mohamed Karay, 27, belong to the Kamikaze Riders and lived in Anderlecht, according to the Belgian daily Le Soir. The Belgian federal prosecutor’s office later confirmed their names to POLITICO."

"Souati, the leader of the biker gang and the alleged brains behind the terror plot, has a criminal record. He was sentenced to six years in prison for armed robberies of restaurants in 2008 and 2009, according to Sudpresse."

We see the first-ever nexus of organized crime and terrorism.

Criminals have access to guns, ammo., a few grenades maybe...Terrorists can give forged papers, money, drugs, to the criminals, tho' in this case they are one and the same.

How many other biker gangs compromise our own security in deals w/terrorists...?

    1. Interesting question. I think we need to really define what terrorism is in connection to drug dealers. Perhaps just the fact these drug dealers are dealing drugs and the effects they (the drugs) have on our society is enough to prove they are terrorists.

As for established bike gangs dealing with terrorists I have grave doubts. Bikers are very ethnically aware, shall we say. Clubs are not multi-racial, by practice. There are the odd exceptions - mind you, one of those exceptions went missing in BC ...

It sounds like the 'Kamikaze Riders' are just on Japanese bikes (most likely speed bikes) and would have no contact, whatsoever, with traditional bikers who would ride American or European bikes.

The only way weapons would trade hands with them and the Muslim terrorists is through middlemen who would be keeping the Muslim association/intents very secret from bikers.

    2. Yeah I'd think the sports bike guys have nothing to do with the 1%ers. However, Kim Bolan discovered that the Air India bombers hired some bikers to do a hit for them locally.

  4. There have been a number of articles written regarding ISIS and the subject/opinion was they were simply another criminal organization. That they make great displays of blowing up artifcats, etc. but infact they first stripe all the valuables and sell it on the black market then blow up the buildings.

The IRA started as a political/religious movement, but in the end, in my opinion was all about drugs and armaments. they were in the arms business.

ISIS, its all about the money, they can find their "soldiers" more easily with ideology than with whatever the "old mobs" used to attract "soldiers".

there are opinions out there about how involved arms of the American government were in the drug trade.

Organized crime is always looking for a way to make money and "beliefs" are secondary. Perhaps not for the rank and file, but for the "elite" of organized crime, its all about the money.

In Mexico it really is difficult to tell what is criminal, what is political/military, social revolutionary.

I have no doubt if gangsters of any time and that includes motorcycle gangs thought they could make money, they would. they owe no allegiance to any one, not even themselves.

    1. The RA... The IRA was indeed political not really religious. Protestants joined the Irish Republican Brotherhood back in the day struggling for a free republic. In time the Protestants in Northern Ireland supported British rule while the Catholics wanted to be free but it wasn't that way originally. However, you are quite right in that some factions became extortionists not freedom fighters. Yet I am told even recently the IRA will still shoot a crack dealer dead in their area.

  5. Yeah I don't really have the time of day of all this ISIS BS. CSIS funds ISIS with tax dollars. That is what needs to be addressed. Bribing drug addicts with cash and giving them explosives to perform acts of terrorism using tax dollars needs to stop. Bikers who sell crack are indeed a blight on society but I certainly don't believe they are terrorists any more than John Nuttal was.
