More Shootings in Toronto - Hells Angels associate killed

The Toronto Star is reporting that "a man was slain in a brazen midday shooting on Tuesday near one of Toronto’s busiest intersections. Cowbell Lane, an alleyway behind the Minto Towers tucked south of the Yonge St. and Eglinton Ave. E. intersection, was the scene of a gruesome homicide. A man was shot multiple times while in his car, a white Range Rover. He was pronounced dead at the scene." Global posted a news clip.

That happened today. Sunday the Toronto Star reported more shootings and stabbing over the weekend and stated that a 10-year-old boy was recovering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder after a bullet flew through a window in his public housing unit was expected Sunday to be released from hospital in the coming days."

In April it was reported that Fatal shootings in Toronto now double this time last year.

Update: Kim Bolan is reporting that the victim in Tuesday's daytime shooting in Toronto was former Vancouver gang associate Sukh Deo. The Deos were affiliated with the original Independent Soldiers before they were taken over by the Hells Angels after the Loft Six shooting.

2nd Update: It appears that Sukh Deo survived and supported the changeover in leadership of the Independent Soldiers which turned them into a Hells Angels puppet club. In the printed edition of Thursday's Vancouver Province they ran a picture of Sukh Deo posing with Don Lyons and Larry Amero. Not something Bicky or Peter Adiwal would do but was something Randy Naicker did. Kim Bolan wrote the article and has the picture posted on her blog.

The Independent Soldiers were originally an Indo Canadian gang and were independent. After the Loft Six shootings most of the original leaders were killed off or converted to become patch lickers. Randy Naicker obviously converted as he was posing with Larry Amero showing the Hells Angels support and endorsement of the new changeover. All of a sudden numerous buff white guys on steroids started to join. That's when they started writing the name Independent Soldiers on their forearms in distinctive script. That was the new puppet club's trademark.

The picture shows Don Lyons, known drug dealer and member of the Independent Soldiers, showing off his forearms with the IS Tattoos posing with Larry Amero and Sukh Deo. The purpose of that picture is to show Sukh Deo's support of the new leadership and show that the Independent Soldiers now work for the Hells Angels not just Larry Amero.

Say what you want about Kim Bolan but she did break that story. The cub pack thing is a real smoke and mirror distraction from the obvious. The Hells Angels took over the leadership of the Independent Soldiers just like they used the Bacon Brothers to take over the leadership of the Red Scorpions in the Surrey Six. Both the Red Scorpions and the Independent Soldiers sell drugs for the Hells Angels just like the Alkhalils.

  3. perhaps the Toronto police dept. ought to spend a little more time in some of the areas where the violence is. Its a little too late to .park cruisers in an area after the violence. It will also be up to the people within the community to rid itself of some of those guns. No guns, no shootings.

    1. The only way the community could be able to rid itself of criminals with guns would be to have the community armed in order to have the capabilities to disarm others. They would also have to have availability of superior fire-power/numbers/training and willingness in order to do so.

If the police, who are armed and whom have access to vast amounts of intel that citizens do not, cannot disarm the criminals, disarming lawful citizens will only make things worse.

Any bully will only increase their bullying (both severity and frequency) if they think no one is capable or able to stop them.

  4. ah Dr.? Smyth, we disagree. the community doesn't need more guns to rid themselves of gangsters with guns. Many of these young people have families, friends, etc. who are quite aware their children/family members have illegal guns. What it requires is some resolve to turn them and/or the guns in. Its that simple. You either go along with the guns and risk being shot or you say, no more. By doing nothing you are in fact condoning the illegal use of arms.

The police can not do everything and be everywhere. At some point citizens need to cooperate.

    1. Please do not throw rocks in your glass house.

My graduate studies were in Psychology, to be specific, Educational Psychology.

I should not have to point out you have continually ignored to acknowledge the valid evidence of how gun "control" is a lie:

Then you try to stoop to alluded personal attacks to try to draw attention away from the fact you are merely espousing personal opinion that has no basis in facts, logic nor reason.

      That is classic avoidance behaviour.

Perhaps you really need to research your stance, rethink it and then reform it to ensure it is inline with the evidence.

  5. Criminals will always have guns. The only thing we can regulate is whether or not law abiding citizens have them to defend themselves.

    1. You raise an interesting question, why exactly is it that regulation of law abiding citizens will help solve the problem of criminals using firearms? The answer is of course that regulating LAW ABIDING citizens does NOTHING to deal with any criminals who are using them. The very definitions tell you that, yet people take it as an article of faith that it does. This tells you how stupid the average person is.....

Gun control is not about guns, it's about control. An armed man just might think about actively resisting "the powers that be" or their agents, and we can't have that can we. One wonders if BC Hydro might not still belong to the people of BC if someone had screwed their front sight into Gordon Campbell's ear canal and pointed out that stealing from the citizens to benefit himself and his crooked corporate buddies was a really bad idea. It's just flat out amazing how willing, even eager, folks are to do the right thing under such circumstances. A few such incidents and folks might even start acting according to expected standards of behavior and ethics....

    2. I saw this poster the other day and thought it was rather amusing. After coming home from the gun range one day my daughter commented on how peaceful and calming it was:
