Surrey School Board places roadblock to LRT insanity

The Peacearch News is reporting that "The Surrey School Board wants Mayor Linda Hepner to address how an elementary school’s playing field is being affected by road construction plans. At its first meeting of this school year, on Sept. 20, the Surrey Board of Education received a report from Superintendent Dr. Jordan Tinney summarizing concerns about the 105 Avenue Connector project’s impacts on Hjorth Road Elementary school."

"The city intends to build a road that would cut through the Guildford school, and an LRT station is planned next to the school. In his report, Tinney notes the crucial need and community desire for transit improvements but said our priority is the impacts on schools.”

“Hjorth Road Elementary school is central to our community,” writes Tinney. “We realize and appreciate that the creation of a robust transportation system is in the best interest of Surrey, but we need to ensure that our community school remains viable and safe. Having access to a viable play field on-site is essential to the operation of a school.”

Trustee Terry Allen said prior to shovels going in the ground, there needs to be an agreement in place between the city and the board. “The truth of the matter is, for the board of education, if it doesn’t benefit the students, then there will be no deal,” he said. “That’s what we’re elected to do and that’s what we will continue to do.”

This neighbourhood, noted Allen, is one of the city’s lowest income. “These students and Holly Elementary are the most vulnerable students. We’re committed to that school, and we always have been,” he said. “The city can do what it wants with Hawthorne Park but they can’t do what they want with our property.” Allen said while he appreciates parkland, his “fight begins at the fence of Hjorth Road.” “There’s a lot at stake,” he added. “The city needs to know that. I’m not going to lie to you and say that city staff and our staff haven’t spoken. But I want to be very clear that there certainly is no deal between the council and the board of education.”

Linda Hepner is a raging lunatic and Dianne Watts is the driving force behind this insanity.

Three shootings in Surrey - Update

The Peacearch News is reporting that "Surrey RCMP are investigating three shootings that occurred within 12 hours of each other on Saturday night.

The first had police cordoning off 30 Avenue between 148 Street and 147A just before 6 p.m. According to an RCMP news release, another shooting, this one just at 5:21 a.m. Sunday, took place in the 14700 block of 30 Avenue – the same location as the one just hours prior.

A third shooting took place in the Newton area of Surrey at 5:10 a.m. Sunday. A news release said that Mounties are investigating a shooting in the 8400 block of 121a Street.

Update: The Peacearch News is reporting that "Five people have been arrested in connection with a pair of shots-fired incidents in South Surrey over the weekend. Police announced the arrests, and the seizure of three vehicles – all of which took place at a residence in White Rock – in a news release issued late Monday afternoon."

Surrey Six appeal causes more delays

CBC is reporting that "Canada's highest court has agreed to hear an appeal involving four RCMP officers who investigated the so-called Surrey Six murders in Surrey, B.C. The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled it will hear special prosecutor Chris Considine's appeals of a 2015 ruling from the B.C. Supreme Court and a 2017 decision from the B.C. Court of Appeal."

RCMP officers Derek Brassington and Paul Johnston, David Attew and Danny Michaud face charges including breach of trust, obstruction of justice and fraud. The trial for the four men was expected to begin in 2013, but has been delayed repeatedly.

This is a colossal concern because this is what's holding up Jamie Bacon's trial which could in fact see him get off due to trial delays and would be a crime against humanity. An RCMP officer slept with a witness in the Surrey Six. That was unprofessional. Having an affair on his wife was cheap. Yet none of that has anything whatsoever to do with the Surrey Six murder and investigation. Jamie Bacon's trial needs to proceed. Delaying that trial any more is simply wrong.

The CBC article is referring to Chris Considine's appeals of a 2015 ruling from the B.C. Supreme Court and a 2017 decision from the B.C. Court of Appeal. We need to find out which decisions the special prosecutor is appealing. Publication bans prevent revealing details of the decisions publically but not privately. One would think the special prosecutor would not be appealing a decision that convicted the police he charged.

The thing is, the four officers have not been convicted yet. Their trial is being delayed to allow for the completion of this appeal proceedings. Police misconduct charges in this case were filed by the Ontario Provincial Police. Let's hope the RCMP aren't putting the trial of Jamie Bacon at risk just to cover up more police misconduct like they did during the Pickton inquiry.

Shooting in South Surrey

The Peacarch News is reporting that "Surrey RCMP are investigating a shooting near the corner of 148 Street and 30 Avenue" shortly afer 7:00 PM Saturday.

Gangsters out endorses Andrew Wilkinson

Why would an activist from Surrey support Andrew Wilkinson over Dianne Watts? Wait till I tell ye: Because I am from Surrey. I saw what Dianne Watts did to Surrey and I stand as a witness declaring that it was not good. She was a bully who said one thing and did another. She left us with record debt and an organized crime problem that was never confronted. Andrew Wilkinson on the other hand has potential. He is a former lawyer who has worked with the BC Civil Liberties Union and was a physician before that. I kid you not. The guy is educated.

Andrew Wilkinson was President of the BC Civil Liberties Union from 1993-95. In response to John Horgan and Andrew Weaver's recent decision to use tax dollars to fund political parties he said: “We think it’s inappropriate to have taxpayers fund political parties. Political parties should raise their own money, and not turn to taxpayers.” He is absolutely right.

If anyone can unite the bright in response to the NDP in BC he can. Not with kool aid and hype but with sincerity and competence. BC doesn't need another another photo op spin doctor catering to conflicted lobbyists. BC needs leadership not spin. We need to confront organized crime without removing civl liberty. We need to maintain fiscal responsibility and keep taxes low so business can prosper. We don't need more of Dianne Watts tax and spend insider trading.

David Suzuki speaks at Surrey Rally - Reducing 104th Ave to a single lane is not progress.

LRT along 104th is a Bad Idea. Dianne Watts is the driving force behind this insanity steamrolling over Hawthorne park and Hjorth Road elementary. As a candidate for the leadership of the BC Liberals Dianne Watts says she wants to lower taxes. Wouldn't that be nice? Unfortunately we all know that Dianne Watts says one thing and does the other.

How is she going to lower taxes when she plans on spending 2.6 billion tax dollars on an on ground railway we don't want or need? The NDP just lowered taxes by removing tolls on the Port Mann bridge. As a result traffic flow changed and we don't need a replacement for the Alex Fraser Bridge and Dease Island tunnel. In so doing the NDP just saved taxpayers an additional 2.5 billion tax dollars through fiscal restraint.

When Dianne Watts was mayor of Surrey she loved spending tax dollars and left us with a record debt. When she was a member of the mayors glutton's council she was obsessed with finding new ways to raise taxes and spend money. She wanted to toll every bridge under the sun and impose a regional sales tax above and beyond the 10 cents a litre billion dollars a year regional gas tax. Even after the HST and the Translink tax hike referendum failed.

Years ago Preston Manning lead a Canadian Ron Paul revolution targeting fiscal responsibility that completely swept through the West. It was rebelling against Lyin Brian Mulroney's tax and spend pork barrel politics. Sadly Eastern Canada saw the reform party as a separatist movement and never bought into it. Instead of giving it time to sink in on the East Stephen Harper merged with Mulronism just to get elected.

Harper merged with the same entity the reform party was created to confront. Dianne Watts is not fiscally responsible. She is part of the same tax and spend pork barrel politics Brian Mulroney and Stephen Harper were part of. That is not something I can endorse.

As far as dealing with organized crime in British Columbia there is not a snowball's chance in hell Dianne Watts is going to do anything about it. She promised us the world when she ran for mayor of Surrey with regards to transparency and crime reduction. When she got elected she did the exact opposite. Over and over again citizens would report drug trafficking in front of businesses in Newton, trailer parks as well as numerous other concerns and each time the complaints fell on deaf ears. City hall and the police did nothing. Dianne Watts blew the whole policing budget going after grow ops and didn't lift a finger to confront crack dealing.

So I am simply recording my dissent. I'll sit this gluttons gallery out and just say you heard it here first. When everything I warned you about repeats itself I will simply say I told you so. Don't look at me, I voted for the other guy. Andrew Wilkinson is the better choice. Go Godzilla.

Defending Civil Liberty

Although confronting organized crime is without question a top priority for Canada, we cannot do so by eliminating or diminishing civl liberty. You can't defend freedom by doing away with it. Defending civl liberty remains our top priority in defense of a free republic.

Likewise we cannot focus exclusively on the Hells Angels. That would be like focussing on Freeway Ricky while we completely ignore Blandon who supplied him. It would be counter productive. Our focuss needs to be on disrupting drug trafficking not on seizing the proceeds of crime. Obsessing over criminal organization status is a waste of time.

As Kerri Krysko would say, "the Hells Angels are not a criminal organization, they are an organization of criminals. Many members of the Hells Angels are criminals but many more are not." This is true. As George Christie would say, "the Hells Angels are not a criminal organization because the members who are involved with criminal activity are stingy and don't share the proceeds of crime with the rest of the members." That is believable.

As I keep saying, we need to focus on disrupting the drug trafficking not on criminal organization status and seizing the proceeds of crime. That will take us back to LA in Freeway Ricky's time when the DEA stopped disrupting drug trafficking and just focussed on seizing the proceeds of crime to get a piece of the pie in exchange for letting it continue.

The solution is simple. Bob Paulson admitted that he himself almost depleted the supply of federal detectives specializing in Mafia and biker-gang investigations during his tenure as RCMP commissioner. So the next logical step would be to put them back investigating organized crime where they belong. Since the Christy Clark government disbanded the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Unit after their success in Kelowna with the David Giles and Johnny Newcome busts, then bring back the OMGU. It really is that simple. All I know is that things need to change.

Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime

Bob Paulson's exit interview has opened a can of worms that requires further comment. Once again we need to connect the dots and do the math. In his final interview with the Globe and Mail although Bob Paulson "acknowledged the possibility of Islamic State-inspired attacks is now an ever-present reality in Canada, he said such national security risks are significantly less of a threat than organized crime." No kidding.

It's pretty obvious that in Canada organized crime is a significantly great threat to Canadians than the possibility of Islamic State-inspired attacks. In fact the amount of tax dollars the RCMP anti terrorism squad has spent on terrorist sting operations is in itself of great concern. Not only is it a complete waste of money to bribe and threaten drug addicts to blow things up, but we are also forced to ask what is happening to the billions of tax dollars this anti terrorist secret society loses from its budget every year?

When a government agency loses billions of dollars from its budget on a regular basis above and beyond what it spends, we need to look at that because that is in itself organized crime. Which reveals the real irony. The whole concept of terrorist quotas is quite concerning. What if there aren't any terrorists in a year to find? Do we create them? The evidence shows we have.

We also have to ask, if CSIS or the RCMP spend so much money creating terrorist sting operations like in the Surrey Pressure Cooker fraud, has a sting operation ever gone bad where the fake attack actually occurred and killed innocent people? Why yes it has - Air India. In the largest terrorist attack in Canadian history, the RCMP and the CBC revealed that it was CSIS that provided the explosives for that attack and had an agent on site that helped plan that heinous event. CSIS still need to be charged in that murder.

Bill Tieleman wrote about the concerns with RCMP terrorist quotas. Bill Tieleman also wrote about controversial sting operations in the United States where the FBI "foils" a FBI plot they themselves created. Bill Tieleman compared the Surrey Pressure Cooker fraud to other cases in the US “where clueless and troubled people have been convicted of deadly plots after undercover agents and informers facilitated their crimes to incredible degrees.”

An example he used was “James Cromitie, a low-level ex-drug dealer who converted to Islam. A well-paid FBI informant befriended the Walmart worker and promised him $250,000 and a new BMW car to fire Stinger surface-to-air missiles at U.S. military planes and plant bombs at Jewish targets in New York.” In that case the FBI actually facilitated the crime.

Likewise in the Surrey Pressure Cooker fraud the RCMP were found guilty of entrapment. Entrapment is where the police create crime instead of stopping it. If a target doesn't have the means or motive to commit a crime without the assistance of the police, then that is entrapment. Paying a drug addict $250,000 and a new BMW to use a weapon they gave him does not stop terrorism it creates it. Our tax dollars can and should be spent on preventing organized crime instead of creating terrorist attacks.

The other question we have to ask is why would we spend so much money creating terrorist attacks when the end result is Bill C-51 which strips Canadians of civil liberty and does away with the sacred Charter of Rights? When that is the end result of these fake attacks we have to question the real motive behind creating them.

However, Bob Paulson's exit interview has revelaed the real concern. Bob Paulson said during his tenure as RCMP Commissioner he almost depleted the supply of federal detectives specializing in Mafia and biker-gang investigations and shifted them over to the RCMP's terrorist creating secret society. This was right after Julian Sher put out his prophetic book warning that the Hells Angels drug trafficking network was taking over Canada. So right after the prophetic warning hit the shelves, instead of confronting the epidemic the RCMP did the exact opposite and removed any barrier in it's power to help facilitate their expansion.

This was not their first offense. Julian Sher's book was so controversial because it was released after the RCMP scuttled Operation Phoenix which was a regional task force targeting the Hells Angels and Weird Hall Porteous. Allen Dalstrom was fired after it was revealed he was the source in Julian Sher's book the Road to Hell who stated "when it came to organized-crime investigations, the RCMP had done “f--- all here for 25 years”.

After that fact was revealed Allen Dalstrom was fired and the RCMP removed any remaining officers targeting the Hells Angels and organized crime. Imagine that. Allen Dalstrom won his unlawful dismissal case but a gag order was included in the settlement.

So we are forced to ask ourselves, where is all this corruption coming from? It's coming from the top down. Someone targets the Hell Angels and organized crime while someone from up above pulls the plug on that investigation.

The answer my friend is not blowing in the wind. The answer is found in the US crack epidemic of the 1980's. The answer is found in the Gary Webb story and in the Freeway Ricky story.

This rabbit hole ultimately leads to the Lockerbie bombing. Buyer Beware.

It's all about American Made yo. Barry Seal and the CIA out of Mena, Arkansas.

Konaam Killed in Kamloops

Global is reporting that Konaam Shirzad, one of the founding members of the Red Scorpians, before they were taken over by the swine flu, was shot dead last night in Kamloops. I can tell you the UN didn't do it so do the math.

Konaam was in the news January of this year after the police used percussion grenades to execute a search warrant at the gym he owned. I kid you not. The police didn't find anything which supports my personal theory that he left the life.

Blaze the fly sh*t woman beater claimed Konaam had kicked the Wolf Pack out of Kamloops so that would provide you with a motive. Chalk up one more for the big red machine. Konaam was solid. The cub pack sucks. Money doesn't buy respect yo. Any kid can pull a trigger.

RCMP’s Bob Paulson's exit interview

The Globe and Mail is reporting that Bob Paulson is heading for the exit gates saying that organized crime is the biggest threat facing Canadians. He even names the Hells Angels. Now I'm not going to mention the failure of dealing with sexual harassment in the RCMP while he was at the helm. I'm not even going to mention the Dianne Rock story. Much. He retires on Friday.

I am going to mention the fact that the article points out that Paulson "acknowledged the possibility of Islamic State-inspired attacks is now an ever-present reality in Canada, he said such national security risks are significantly less of a threat than organized crime." No kidding.

"Without being a fear monger, we've got to have political leaders understand what organized crime is, how [the perpetrators] get their advantage, how they corrupt individuals and institutions, how they get their hooks into people." Indeed. The Surrey RCMP are providing the Hells Angels drug dealers on the Surrey strip police protection. Something needs to be done about that.

Paulson himself is on the record saying he almost depleted the supply of federal detectives specializing in Mafia and biker-gang investigations to national-security squads following the 2014 slayings of Canadian soldiers near Parliament Hill in Ottawa and in Quebec.

Interesting. Bob Paulson admitted that he himself almost depleted the supply of federal detectives specializing in Mafia and biker-gang investigations during his tenure to focus on finding and creating terrorists like in the Surrey Pressure cooker bomb plot. Instead of bribing and threatening drug adicts to blow things up, we could actually use that money to investigate organized crime.

Finding a Replacement

As to who should replace Bob Paulson, at this point I don't know. Putting Bill Fordy in that position would be a crime against humanity. That guy is the weak link in E Division. He's the last of the Friends of Craig Callen fruitcakes causing problems in upper management here. Yet there's nobody strong enough in BC to take on the Commissioner's role.

Dwayne McDonald has been a huge disappointment since he took over for Bill Fordy as Surrey Police Chief. We had high hopes for him since he did such a great job in the Kelowna Summer Jam but he dropped the ball when he came to Surrey. The problem is he just doesn't have any balls. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there's a place in this world for eunuchs. I just wish he'd grow a pair. Dwayne needs to realize that you cant please a dirty politician without getting dirty.

Justin Trudeau also needs to realize that the best person for the job isn't necessarily a woman. It might be but this gender selection diminishes everyone. I think they should pick someone from Quebec. A strong Frenchman who respects women and respects himself. That would set a good example for the entire force. The sexual harassment problem will now dissipate. Now we need to focus on organized crime. That takes fortitude.

Another puppet club replaces the Devil's Army in Langford

The Times Colonist is reporting that a new motorcycle club called the Savages is operating out of the Langford clubhouse previously used by the Devil’s Army. The Savages are believed to be a puppet club of the Nanaimo chapter of the Hells Angels. About 100 bikers including full-patch Hells Angels rumbled through Langford on April 1 during a memorial ride for Mike Widner, a prospect for the motorcycle gang who was killed in March in what police believe was a targeted hit. On April 30, bikers rode from Nanaimo to Victoria in the annual ride in memory of Michael (Zeke) Mickle, the Nanaimo Hells Angels president who disappeared in 1993 and is presumed dead." Zeke was killed after trying to tax the Vietnamese grows. They said no.

Boeing vs Bombardier: Another case of tax fraud

The Boeing vs Bombardier legal dispute is in the news. Justin Trudeau said “We have obviously been looking at the Super Hornet aircraft from Boeing as a potential significant procurement of our new fighter jets,” Trudeau said Monday. “But we won’t do business with a company that’s busy trying to sue us and trying to put our aerospace workers out of business.”

Boeing responded with "“Boeing is not suing Canada. This is a commercial dispute with Bombardier, which has sold its C Series airplane in the United States at absurdly low prices, in violation of U.S. and global trade laws. Bombardier has sold airplanes in the U.S. for millions of dollars less than it has sold them in Canada, and millions of dollars less than it costs Bombardier to build them. This is a classic case of dumping, made possible by a major injection of public funds." OK so that is the root of the problem. Why in God's name would we sell a product to the United States for less than it cost us to make it? That is bad business.

Bombardier has a very long history of getting government bailouts. In 2015 CBC reported that "Bombardier loses $4.9B US in 3rd quarter; Quebec to invest $1B US in CSeries program." In February 2016 Zero Hedge reported that "Bombardier Thanks Canada For $1 Billion Bailout By Firing 7,000 People." March 2017 the National Post reported that "Bombardier’s top execs get almost 50% pay raise as company lays off thousands, taps government aid."

Bombariad is a company like unto Lockheed Martin and SNC-Lavalin. They are all dirty as f*ck and burn tax dollars like an incinerator while top executive line their pockets with tax dollars. Boeing on the other hand is a legitimate reliable pillar in the private industry. Boeing makes money consistently. It's not embroiled in fraud like the others.

The Super Hornet is the best product on the market for Canada. The F-35s don't work in the Canadian arctic but the Super Hornet does. The F-35's are nothing but problems. If Canada wants to look at alternatives to the Super Hornet Russia is the only other logical option. The MIGS have a long history of competence. I personally prefer the Super Hornet for obvious reasons. Boeing creates jobs in Canada. Last year they announced a new lab in Vancouver.

We need to look beyond the court dispute and ask ourselves why are we selling products in the United States for less than it costs us to make them? That's like BC Hydro selling power to the US for less that what it costs us to produce it. That is bad business.

I do have a solution - a merger. Boeing takes over Bombardier with the commitment to keep a plant in Quebec. Boeing can make Bombardier profitable. Paul Tiller and Moya Greene couldn't.

What Went Wrong with the F-35

"The F-35 was billed as a fighter jet that could do almost everything the U.S. military desired but has turned out to be one of the greatest boondoggles in recent military purchasing history."

Dozens of F-35s Might Not Ever Be Able To Fight

Lockheed Martin still trying to scam Canadian taxpayers

Horgan approves public funds for political parties

One step forward, two step back. The Green Party wanted to get rid of Corporate and Union donations to political parties. Horgan agreed to it which made the coalition and let them form government. However, the Vancouver Province is reporting that "Premier John Horgan is unrepentant over his plan to provide public subsidies to political parties, saying it’s an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars and is only temporary support." AYFKM?

If you want to ban political donations from Corporations or Unions, that's your choice but you cannot use tax revenue for campaign funds. That is absolutely insane. It's also illegal. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Go directly to jail. You need to rethink this one. If you need time to implement the decision to ban Corporate and Union donations then delay that decision. Do not use tax revenue for campaign purposes. Give your freaking head a shake.

On Monday, Liberal critic Andrew Wilkinson accused the NDP of breaking its campaign promises. “We think it’s inappropriate to have taxpayers fund political parties,” said Wilkinson, who indicated the Liberals will vote against the bill. “Political parties should raise their own money, and not turn to taxpayers.” Andrew Wilkinson is correct. Horgan and Weaver have lost their mind.

Andrew Wilkinson is a much better choice than Dianne Watts. We in Surrey remember what she did to us. Record debt and record fraud. The Princess of lies will fall just like Christy Clark because no lie can live forever. Word. The Fall of Dianne Watts.

Another earthquake in Mexico

The New York times is reporting that A powerful earthquake struck Mexico on Tuesday afternoon, toppling buildings, rattling the capital and sending people flooding into the streets for the second time in just two weeks. By night, nearly 140 people had been reported killed across the country, including scores in the state of Morelos, close to the epicenter of the quake, and dozens here in the capital, Mexico City. But the figure was expected to climb, especially because rescuers were still frantically digging out people trapped beneath mounds of rubble. The earthquake hit shortly after 1 p.m. about 100 miles from Mexico City. It registered a preliminary magnitude of 7.1, causing heavy and prolonged shaking in the capital." Our condolences.

Toronto shooting at restaurant - Update

City news is reporting that "Toronto police are investigating a shooting at a downtown restaurant. Police were called to Michael’s steakhouse restaurant on Simcoe Street near Adelaide Street West around 9 p.m. following reports of four to five shots being fired. They say a man was located without vital signs. Paramedics continued to try and revive the victim on the scene before transporting him to a nearby trauma centre, still absent vital signs. The suspect reportedly fled westbound along Pearl Street. He’s described as male wearing a grey or dark hooded top and armed with a handgun. The restaurant was the scene of a targeted shooting almost two years ago when a man and a woman were shot by two masked men."

Update: Toronto City News is reporting that Simon Giannini, a 54 year old real estate broker was the victim in the shootng and has sucumed to his injuries. The London Free Press is reporting that Simon has hosted local radio and television shows and was gunned down in a bust steakhouse restaurant filled with 150 people.

Narcos location scout shot dead in Mexico

The BBC is reporting that "A location scout for the Netflix crime drama Narcos has been shot dead while working in central Mexico. The bullet-riddled body of Carlos Muñoz Portal, 37, was found in his car in a rural area in the town of Temascalapa, in Mexico state, one of the country's most violent. Mexican officials were reportedly having difficulties investigating the case given a lack of witnesses. Netflix said the facts surrounding his death were still unknown".

David Suzuki speaks at Surrey Rally

Today David Suzuki came to Surrey to speak at the Save Hawthorne Park rally outside city hall. He joined the First Nations drum circle and they presented him with a traditional blanket filled with prayer songs to give him strength to fight the good fight to protect the environment.

In the media scrum David Suzuki applauded the City of Surrey for endorsing a declaration recognizing residents “Right to a Healthy Environment." He then asked are they now living up to that comitment? He admitted that he's not from Surrey and is not aware of what's happening at Hawthorne Park. Well I am. Let me explain it to you.

This isn't just matter of saving a couple of trees nor is it a matter of opposing development. It is about opposing an insane plan to put an on ground railway from Guildford Mall to Surrey Place Mall along 104th Avenue. This railway is something the residents don't want or need. Aside from being an unnecessary waste of money there is no room for it. That is why they are trying to cram a road through a park, playground and school. Reducing 104th Avenue to a single lane of traffic is insane. That is a move backwards not forwards.

If you visit Hjorth Road school on 104th Avenue and 148th street you will see how insane this plan really is. Schools and parks are protected by provincial legislation. Instead of holding a public referendum the city of Surrey has come up with an alternative process where the residents are required to get 30,000 people to fill out forms opposing the deregulation of the park status. This is wrong. Parks are protected. The City of Surrey has thrown that away. If it can happen to Hawthorne park it can happen to any park in the province.

Surrey used to be known as the City of Parks. Surrey First got rid of that motto. You dont hear it being used any more. That's because they paved paradise and put up a parking lot. Fill out the form but object to the process and elect a new mayor. Hey ho, Linda Hepner has gotta go.

LETTER: LRT on Surrey’s 104th Avenue a bad idea

Does LRT even make sense?

Police request delay in legalization of pot

This one's a little bit strange. First it was reported that the police said the legalization of pot will not remove organized crime from the industry which is true and makes sense. Yet the Toronto Star is reporting that the police made several other statements to parliament opposing the bill that require comment. The police want the government to delay the legalization of pot.

I can understand the need to train officers in roadside sobriety checks regarding pot. The other concerns are in fact concerning as in they over reach. "The police also want Ottawa to reconsider allowing individuals to grow up to four of their own marijuana plants because it will be difficult and expensive to enforce and provide an additional way for young people to get access to pot. “Why do you need home grows when we’re going to have a good system to access marijuana legally?” asked Barnum." What on earth has that got to do with the police?

That pretty much defines the public's concern with the current policy. Locking people in jail for growing a couple of pot plants is a waste of time and money. It clogs up the court system. Gumby getting released from massive drug charges in Montreal over court delays is a prime example of why our court system needs to change. The police's role is to enforce the law not create the law. The public the police are paid to protect create the law.

The Toronto Star article states "While legalization of recreational pot will lighten their workload - there were 16,000 charges laid for simple possession in 2016" which again defines the problem. If the Trudeau government was elected on the campaign promise to legalize pot and that plan is in the works, why are the police still laying charges for simple possession of pot? That is a complete waste of time and money. The police enforce the law they don't create the law.

This brings us to the current insanity regarding pot dispensaries. Knowing that pot is in the process of being legalized, the Vancouver City hall has launched a campaign trying to shut down all the independent pot dispensaries. The next question we are forced to ask is why?

The only way to break organized crime's monopoly on the industry is to let individuals grow their own and let individual dispensaries continue. Since I can't stand pot myself, I much rather have pot sold in dispensaries than in the liquor stores or supermarkets. As long as it's sold in dispensaries, I don't have to see it or be a part of it.

I agree the minimum age should be 19 not 18 just like for alcohol. Adolescents shouldn't smoke pot as it affects their brains development. Pot is not nearly as bad as crack or meth but pot is not good for you just like cigarettes. THC and CBD are two different things.

The Vancouver Sun reported that "The High Hopes Foundation cannabis dispensary in Vancouver aims to use cannabis to help drug users reduce their dependency on powerful opioids such as heroin and fentanyl." This makes sense. Lethal injection sites do not.

As for organized crimes involving in the industry, if the Hells Angels want to sell pot who cares? Let them. Pot is not the problem, crack, crystal meth and fentanyl is. It's like the black market cigarette industry back east. Who cares? Tax evasion does not affect public peace. Hard drugs do. If pot can be used to help people get off hard drugs then more power to them.

North Korea launches another missile over Japan and makes more threats

The Guardian is reporting that North Korea has launched another missile over Japan, a day after it threatened to sink the country and turn the US into ashes and darkness." The president of South Korea oposes the presence of nuclar weapons in it's country which makes sense.

South Korea, Japan, Canada and Guam need an Iron Dome missle defense system. Like I said, Kim Jong-un is a terrorist supported by China. China is not neutral. They are the driving force behind this insanity. BC and Alberta need to take back their oil rights from Communist China.

Michael Smyth needs to get a life

Holy drama queens, Michael Smyth has completely lost it. It must be a slow news day when you have to consume all your spare time to create fake news. That clown is still going on about a ridiculous court case that he admitted himself has no merit claiming it's going to cost taxpayers money even though it won't go anywhere. Aside from being a lunatic, he is wrong. When you falsely sue someone for defamation and you lose, the costs are usually in the cause. That means the guy that made the bogus application has to pay both sets of legal costs.

Today's scam city takes us to the tumultuous world of Gordon Wilson. He's the guy that got a sweetheart job as an LGN lobbyist after his wife wrote a book spinning for Christy Clark. Michael Smyth didn't have much to say about that aspect of the dirty deal he's spinning.

John Horgan and Bruce Ralston said Gordon Wilson did little to earn his lavious salary "advocating" for LGN. That was a fair comment. Advocating for LGN is awfully ambiguous. Don't get me wrong. I support LGN. Natural gas is clean burning. Coal is not. It' just that you don't have to pay someone 12,500 tax dollars a month to say that.

BTW CBC is reporting that Gordon Wilson's step son Kasimir Tyabji-Sandana has a new trial date set for April regarding his drug trafficking charges. Mikey forgot to mention that too. Mikey also failed to mention that although Gordon Wilson's bogus defamation suit has no merit, the Vancouver Province recently had to pay out a defamation lawsuit that did have merit. Gordon Wilson's wife Judy and her ex husband were also named in that same defamation suit.

In February 2013, Tyabji and Wilson signed a consent order agreeing to a judgment of $35,853.33 to Hakemi Law Corporation. That was just for legal bills they owed their counsel.

As I previously said, Bruce Ralston is from Surrey. He is a longstanding MLA that is well liked because he genuinely cares about his community. Michael Smyth's attack ads against Bruce Ralston sound awfully Shakespearean as in the lady doth protest too much methinks.

In fact, Mikey's swan song is heading for a Macbeth soliloquy. His meaningless attack ads sound like a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage then is heard no more. A tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing. Sad indeed. As in pathetic.

NDP scrap $2.5 billion bridge

Venezuela sends Cuba humanitarian aid

Internationally, the world is in turmoil. A massive earthquake rocked Mexico and more hurricanes keep forming pounding the US and the Caribbean. The Independent is reporting that Mexico had to rescind its offer to send Texas humanitarian aid after the hurricane as it needed to channel all its resources into providing earthquake relief to it's own citizens. That makes perfect sense. What doesn't make any sense is why Mexico would be sending America humanitarian aid? That's kind of like Canada and the US sending China humanitarian aid when China owns our debt.

Loop is reporting that "Venezuela continues to aid some of the islands ravaged by Hurricane Irma, this time sending much-needed supplies to Cuba." I'm a bit confused. I respect the gesture. Cuba was nailed by hurricane Irma and needs aid. I was under the impression that Venezuela is in turmoil and didn't have any food in its supermarkets. That's why there is a mass exodus there and half of Venezuela is now living in Colombia. The world is in turmoil alright.

2 Durham police officers charged with drug traficking

I've been hearing a lot of talk about Durham police being corrupt but I haven't had time to follow up on it. However, the Toronto Star is reporting that "Two Durham Regional Police officers and three civilians have been arrested after a year-long investigation into an Ajax bar. The investigation, aided by officers from the Toronto Police Service, found that cocaine and marijuana were being sold at the bar. Const. Husen Aswat is facing seven counts of breach of trust, four counts of trafficking in cocaine, three counts of weapons dangerous and possession of the proceeds of crime, and one count each of theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime. Const. Amandeep Thakur has been charged with two counts of breach of trust, theft under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime."

The Toronto Star is also reporting that "Durham Region homicide detectives are invesitgating after a woman’s torso was found floating near Oshawa Harbour on Monday night. Const. George Tudos said the torso was found in Lake Ontario by a fisherman at around 8:30 p.m. Police said in a release on Tuesday that officers found “signs of trauma” on the torso at the scene. Tudos said officers will be checking missing persons reports in the area to try and identify the woman."

Donald Trump creates a humanitarian crisis: Despacito

OK so Hillary Clinton is a arms dealer and a drug trafficker but Donald Trump is a dick. Trump is creating a humanitarian crisis for no reason with absolutely no regard for thousands of working families he is turning homeless. We've already talked about the mass exodus of refugees getting kicked out of the US coming to Canada because they have no place else to go.

We aren't seeing the same mass influx of refugees on the west coast like they are on the east Coast. In Montreal the Olympic stadium is full of refugees. Most of those are Haitians that came to the United States after the earthquake. Now Trump is telling them they have to leave.

We had a family of four stay with us from Colombia and Honduras who had been living and working in Dallas for two years. They both had jobs, they owned a home and rented a bouncy castle for their children's birthday. Donald Trump revoked their green cards so they were forced to leave and came to Canada with absolutely nothing.

In addition to removing DACA, Trump is preparing to remove temporary protected status for hundreds of thousands of other immigrants who have been permitted to build lives in the United States, in some cases for decades. This lunatic is creating a humanitarian crisis for no reason whatsoever. It doesn't even make business sense. More than 86,000 Hondurans and more than 5,300 Nicaraguans are protected under the program. El Salvador's temporary protected status is up for expiration in March. Salvadorans make up more than 263,000 of the immigrants who are temporarily protected, and they have been living in the United States since 2001.

Despacito featuring Daddy Yankee is the first song to be sung primarily in Spanish to reach the top 10 in over 20 years. Diversity makes us strong. Like I said, Nicky Jam que Bacano.

Burma Genocide

Burma is in the news and although I really don't know enough about what's going on to comment, something needs to be said. Burma is now called Myanmar. The Guardian is reporting that "Myanmar’s treatment of its Muslim Rohingya minority appears to be a textbook example of ethnic cleansing, the top United Nations human rights official has said."

Descriptions of the atrocities seem beyond belief. This is something we need to look into. The Guardian reported on a massacre at Tula Toli and claims that the Myanmar government won't let the media in to confirm the claims. One fact that is not disputable is that refugees are fleeing the violence and are pouring into Bangladesh. Time Magazine wrote about the genocide in 2012. Apparently this violence has been going on for generations and has recently spiked.

This is bizarre. The Holocaust was obscene as was the Rwanda tragedy. This is unacceptable. This does not happen in a civilized society. One does not turn a blind eye to these kind of atrocities. We need to spotlight Burma and find out what is really going on. Burma is the place we need to send Canadian Peacekeepers to protect the innocent and keep the peace.

Lester Pearson established Canadian Peacekeeping. It is time to resurrect that long standing Canadian tradition. Burma needs Canadian Peacekeepers. We can't wait for the Americans because they won't do it. Under Donald Trump's leadership they are both heartless and brainless. This is something we are going to have to spearhead ourselves. Limo crashes into Surrey Home - Jagmeet Singh addresses Islamophobia

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that a limo crashed into a Surrey home 3:00 AM this morning. Perhaps alcohol was a factor in that accident.

Meanwhile back in Brampton, Ontario NDP candidate Jagmeet Singh was heckled by a woman claiming he was Muslim. Instead of explaining to her he was Sikh not Muslim he simply said we support love and courage. After the event he explained why he did not simply say he was not Muslim. "My response to Islamophobia has never been I'm not Muslim. It has always been and will be that hate is wrong." Well said. That lady is a mental case.

Let's make education great again.

NDP scrap $2.5 billion bridge

Not surprisingly, as soon as the tolls were scrapped on the Port Mann bridge traffic spiked. Traffic patterns have changed. Now the NDP have scrapped the $2.5 billion bridge scam to replace the George Massey tunnel. So in reality, scrapping the bridge tolls just saved taxpayers $2.5 billion.

Since Treo screwed me over on toll bills I have been taking the other route to Vancouver. I take the Alex Fraser bridge into Vancouver and the George Massey tunnel coming back. During rush hour traffic in the tunnel is surprisingly light. Now with more people using the Port Mann it will be even better. That whole mega bridge was another scam. What we need is fiscal responsibility. Christy Clark and Diane Watts, the queens of insider trading, are not it.

Another simple way to save another $2.6 billion tax dollars would be to scrap this insane idea of putting an on ground railway through the middle of Surrey. That is the stupidest idea in recorded history. We dont need it and we don't want it. Spending money on that would perpetuate the insider trading fraud. An on ground railway from Guildford Mall to Surrey Place is stupid. It is a short commute by bus with no wait times. An onground railway would disrupt all traffic crossing the line and throw traffic lights out of synch which would make traffic congestion unbearable. There's no room for it either. That's why they want to cram a road through parks, playgrounds and schools. Stop the fraud. Loose the airheads.

John Horgan and Linda Hepner pose with Surrey gunman

Global is reporting that John Horgan and Linda Hepner were photographed posing with a convicted shooter, former Radio India boss Maninder Gill from a fundraising dinner Wednesday. Gill was sentenced to four years behind bars for a 2010 shooting outside a Surrey temple that left one man injured. In a statement, the BC NDP said the Premier did not know Maninder Gill, nor was he privy to the guest list of the event.

Hepner said Dhesi invited her and the only reason why she went to the dinner was to establish a relationship with the province’s new premier. “I do know Maninder Gill, it was not my intention to be in a photo with him, group or otherwise.”

A word of advice to John Horgan. If you want to protect your political future, stay as far away from Linda Hepner as possible. That woman is dumb as f*ck and is dirty as f*ck. However, since he did attend a function with her we are going to have to ask him, aren't schools in BC protected? Linda Airhead Hepner wants to build a road that is totally unnecessary right through an elementary school playing field. Let's save the school and lose the airhead.
