The Rock Machine Down Under

We've talked about this before but since there are so many new readers following the blog now perhaps I should reinforce the history of the club(s). This news article gives a fair analysis of the history of the Rock Machine and explains how the Rock Machine in Australia are fighting with another motorcycle club there called the Rebels.

This facebook page also has a good history of the Rock Machine. It claims that around 1982, Salvatore Cazzetta was a member of a white-supremacist motorcycle gang named the SS, who were based in Pointe-aux-Trembles, on the eastern tip of the Island of Montreal. A fellow member of the SS was Maurice Boucher, and the two became friends. As leaders of the gang, they became candidates to join the Hells Angels when that gang decided to expand its international operations into Canada.

In March 1985, a Lennoxville, Quebec chapter of the Hells suspected the Laval chapter of wasting drug profits by using too much of the product themselves. The Laval chapter was invited to a Lennoxville chapter party. When the five Laval members arrived, they were ambushed and murdered. Two months later, at the bottom of the St. Lawrence River, divers located the decomposing bodies of the victims wrapped in sleeping bags and tied to weightlifting plates.

OK let's pause there a moment. Salvatore Cazzetta, the founder of the Rock Machine was originally a member of a white supremacists motorcycle gang called the SS along with Mom Boucher. Both groups have a history of involvement with White Supremacy. Cazzetta kinda sounds Spanish but it's Italian.

Salvatore, like many others, was outraged with the betrayal in the Lennoxville massacre. Hells Angels killing their own just because. That's not what the MC movement is about. Mom Boucher and his other pal Biff Hammel didn't have a problem with it. In fact, they used it to their advantage to climb the ladder and get their patches. In fact Biff Hamel was a prospect of the Laval chapter and was present when they executed his sponsors and seized the opportunity for advancement. That's kind of a dirty politician not a loyal friend. Hells angel hitman Yves "Apache" Trudeau was also a member of that chapter but didn't show up for the execution. After they killed his brothers he became a police informant.

Not surprising, Biff Hammel and Maurice Boucher used a similar betrayal to take over the Death Riders by forming an allegiance with some aspiring members of that club who met with them right after their presidents funeral to become a Hells angels puppet club. The betrayal and murder of the Death Riders president helped the Hells angels take over the entire drug trade in Laval.

So get this, years later history repeated itself. The Rock Machine merged with the Bandidios and the Texas head office ordered a hit on the Toronto chapter and another aspiring leader was more than happy to seize the opportunity to murder his own brothers. Another white supremacist murdering his fellow members. Once again the Rock Machine were outraged and broke off on their own. Unfortunately, their ultimate purpose is the same as the Hells angels - to sell drugs. The turf war is a war over drug territory for drug profits.

After the Bandidio massacre, Salvatore Cazzetta went back with his friend Mom Boucher to join the Hells angels and became the president of the Montreal chapter. I kid you not. This would reinforce the rumour in the book The Angels claiming that Maurice "Mom" Boucher at one time paid his "rivals" in the Rock Machine to murder some of his own people who he saw as political threats to his leadership within the club. The author of the book claims to have received the information from an ex Rock Machine member.

Ya gotta wonder about it since Salvatore was his friend and rejoined him once all the political opposition was eliminated letting him become president of the Montreal chapter once and for all.

Police in Winnipeg protect a Hells Angel

Police in Winnipeg heard about a hit on a Hells Angel and set up surveillance on his house. When the Rock Machine tried to shoot him, the police rammed their vehicle and intervened. Stopping violence is a good thing but offering the Hells Angels private security and protection to sell crack is not.

Maybe we should be offering protection to the judges and crown prosecutors that prosecute the Hells Angels. You know, the ones the Hells Angels threaten. Hells Angel Ian Grant was found with a confidential RCMP file in his home. The police have a leak. Ken Houston is a retired Winnipeg police officer who was caught in the same SUV as a Winnipeg Hells Angel charged with manslaughter named William Bowden. Both men faced numerous weapons charges as well as possession of a controlled substance.

The Rock Machine Down Under

Looks like the Rock Machine are involved in a similar conflict in Australia. Rock Machine president Paul Boof Samways had his tattoo parlor trashed after a previous arson attempt.

In Australia it's the Rebels not the Hells Angels who are fighting with the Rock Machine. The Rebels are affiliated with the Outlaws. Seems like the Rock Machine are having a hard time getting along with anyone.

The media reports that the arson attempt on Paul Samways' tattoo parlor happened after he testified against three Coffin Cheaters.

I have no problem with someone testifying against thieves, drug dealers or murderers. That's a civic duty. I have concerns when it's done to eliminate the competition so they can steal, sell drugs and commit murder themselves.

Standing up to the Hells Angels is a good thing but it's not a good thing if the reason you do it is so you can sell drugs and commit crime just like they do without having to give them a cut. That is rather pointless.

Nevertheless, in the Coffin Cheaters case, three coffin cheaters were accused of assaulting and stabbing bouncers with a knife after they were denied entrance to a bar with gang colours on. Samways testifying in that case is no act of treason.

Joseph Strachan's MySpace Friends

WTF. If Joseph Strachan is the president of the Rock Machine, then why does he have Tiny Mac as a Myspace friend along with a ship load of 81 supporters? Free Deli? What's up with that? After they kicked out Dog did the RM bend over for the BRM? With all that 81 love maybe we'll have to start calling them Serge short for Sergius.

Rock Machine Remix in Winnipeg

Well, the Rock Machine is starting to make the news in Winnipeg. The media claims Joseph Strachan is the president and has recently been released from jail. Another gang member who lives at home. It's OK. We know how hard it is to get a real job when you have a criminal record. That's why we keep telling you to stop selling crack.

We are getting mixed reports though. One media outlet claims Joseph Strachan's Winnipeg home was shot up last week. A St. Vital-area home belonging to Strachan's parents was then hit with gunfire and Molotov cocktails the following night. There were no injuries in either incident, and no arrests have been made.

That report would imply they were separate residences which would reaffirm the Hells Angels low life depravity of trying to burn down someones mother's home just like they did in Prince George. No wonder some of the Game Tight Soldiers are crossing over.

The Hells Angels created the Redlined Support Crew last year to stand up to other criminal networks that might muscle in on their former drug turf after many of their members were arrested and jailed following the huge Zig Zag crew bust.

Multiple sources have told the Free Press the Rock Machine has slowly gained power in Manitoba, with some former Hells Angels associates even joining their ranks in recent months. Just recently, a founding member of the "Game Tight Soldiers" gang in British Columbia moved to Winnipeg and joined the Rock Machine ranks, according to a source. "There is an active war between the Rock Machine and the Redlined."

Here's the beef. Standing up to the hells angels is a good thing but waging a war with them for the right to sell drugs is absolutely pointless. Recently a 14 year old boy was caught in the cross fire of a gang related shooting in Winnipeg. Jean Paul (J.P.) Beaumont is reportedly the sergeant-at-arms of the Rock Machine. His lawyer said his client is “disgusted” children and women have been put at risk in the recent violence and insists it has nothing to do with the group.

Yet Stephane Gillet has a long history of violence including kidnapping women and children. He denies it, just like they deny they sell drugs yet that is the whole point of the younger kids bringing back the violence. The Quebec biker war was over drug trafficking. No one wants that kind of violence to return. Betraying your own and burning down someones mother's house is deranged. Reporting that to the police isn't being a rat. Not doing so is.

Small man syndrome

The Vancouver riots were very disappointing. Small losers empowered by the mob thirsting for their five minutes of fame. Yet times are changing and mob rule just isn't cool any more. People are ratting out their friends and making fun of them for being jerks which is a good sign.

Take Stephane Gillet. From the outside he looks like a really nice guy. You'd never know that by looking at his criminal history. He has this huge chip on his shoulder. He wants people to think he's deranged so he commits deranged acts of drug related violence. Even against women and children. Oh his fan denies that but even the French version of the article admitted he kidnapped a woman and children at gun point. The English paper just got that event mixed up with one of the many other violent acts in his criminal history.

Ya see he doesn't want you to think he's a nice guy so he overcompensates by doing bizarre acts of violence and the new leadership of the Rock Machine is goating him on. What a shame. There's nothing noble in a drug war. No one wants to bring that back. No one in Quebec or Vancouver. The public won't stand for it any more.

Even the Australian Waffler from the Rock Machine down under can't change the fact that the Rock Machine in Australia can't get along with anyone. They can't even get along with the Rebels. They can't get along with the Hells Angels. They broke off from the Bandidios after the Bandidio massacre in Ontario. They even kicked out their new National President and totally trash him who has since joined Vagos so they've burned that bridge too. So who can they get along with? Only the trained monkeys who kiss their ass and groom their frail ego. That is sad, very sad.

Drug wars are not noble. They are just about money and greed not honour or brotherhood. They betray their own for the almighty dollar. The good news is that people can see through them and don't think that kind of off the hook violence is cool so they are using social media to report them to the police. Welcome to the new world.
